The Finisterre Heights neighborhood is conveniently located on the north end of Camano Island by taking the beautiful coastal road W North Camano Dr. Finisterre Heights sits perched up on a hill some 440 feet above sea level. Many of the homes in this area enjoy stunning views of Puget Sound, Utsalady Bay, Skagit Bay, Whidbey Island, and Mount Baker because of their proximity to the coastline and elevation above Camano’s northern shore.
Finisterre Heights has gorgeous water views, mature landscaping, 8 miles of community walking, and a friendly community. Finisterre Heights is an ideal place to call home. Finisterre Heights features a diverse selection of aesthetically pleasing styles of construction, as well as home sizes and prices. Finisterre Heights has various home construction styles, from modern homes to beautiful ramblers. The neighborhood has 8 miles of walking trails where you will see residents walking their dogs or taking an evening stroll. Camano Island is part of the “banana belt and gets dramatically less rain than other parts of Western WA.
It is close to Utsalady Bay, from which you can enter the water via the Utsalady Boat Launch, also located nearby. During the summer, bring your canoes, kayaks, or paddleboards and explore this area to get an up-close look at various fascinating animals.
The north side of Camano is easier to get off the Island for those who commute, and it’s closer to food and other amenities, such as Camano Commons, which has some great food and beverage options. Baked, Tapped, Camano Commons Bakery & Ice Cream is a popular destination for locals & visitors.
Brentwood, like much of Camano Island, is on Septic. The water source for the neighborhood is a community well, and it has an HOA with rules and regulations.
